The Ratha-Yatra Festival is perhaps the oldest continuously celebrated festival in the world. During this Festival, the deity forms of Lord Jagannath (Sri Krishna), Baladev (Sri Balaram) and Subhadra (Krishna's Sister) are paraded through the streets in magnificently decorated chariots (Rathas) by thousands of people lovingly re-enacting the Scene that took place 5000 years ago when Krishna was personally present. During this procession, the atmosphere is filled to capacity with transcendental vibration and Lord Jagannatha's Mercy is freely distributed to everyone in the form of His Maha Prasadam (sanctified food).
Even now, year after year, the splendidly decorated chariots of Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe, roll down the streets of almost all the countries around the world.

JAI JAGANNATH !!
